Squish Fingering, from Farmer's Daughter Fibers, is soft but strong, a 4-ply fingering weight well suited for shawls and sweaters, and for socks as well, its tight twist lending it sufficient strength (with proper care) to manage you-on-your-feet-all-day. Hand or machine wash, gentle cycle, and lay flat to dry.

Remember that hand-dyed skeins are created individually, in small batches. If you are making a larger garment, please consider alternating skeins every two rows or rounds if you want an appearance of overall consistency in your finished object.
